DIY: HOW TO MAKE JOGGER PANTS/CUFFS – NO SEWING

Hey guys, this is Corey Lupton. And on today’s video, I’ll be doing a DIY and how to. Specifically, I’ll be doing a DIY on how to add a cuff to the bottom of your jeans, so much like jogger pants. But we’ll be doing this one without the use of a sewing machine, so nice and easy for all of you guys. Let’s check it out. So for today’s video, you’re only going to need three items. The pair of pants that you want to add the cuffs to, as well as a pair of scissors preferably fabric scissors to make it a little bit easier for yourself. As well as an old jumper or an old pair of track pants that have the cuff. Keep in that you do want to keep the cuff the same color as your pair of pants, unless that’s the style that you’re going for. So now go ahead and cut the cuffs off your jumper or your pair of pants. Now I’ve had this one for around about a year and a half sitting in the back of my wardrobe, and it cost me around about 25 to $30. So I have absolutely no issues cutting it up. Once you’ve cut these off, you’re practically halfway. Very easy just #[0:01:16]. So now, these are cut off. The next thing you want to do is turn these inside out. And also keeping in mind, that when you cut these off, I like to give myself about an inch, an inch and a half of extra fabric as you guys can see, and you’ll see why very shortly. So now that I’ve cut them off, I’m just going to show you guys how the pants look before I put the cuffs on, just so you guys can get a better of an idea. Okay, so now that we’re all ready to go, you just going to want to pull up your pants. And if your pants are a little bit too long, you can roll them first as it’ll be hidden underneath the cuff. So if that’s what you want to do, you want to go ahead and do that now. Myself, I didn’t really need to as I quite like the length of these pants. So you go ahead and you put on your cuffs with the #[0:02:19] ever going on first, as you can see I’m doing here. Once you’ve got these on, you just want to roll the ends of your pants to the line where the cuff starts as you can see I’m doing here. And then you just simply fold it over, and what that does is it gives a very clean and tidy finish, and it gives the appearance of having a cuff on your pants without the need or without having to sew anything. So you can use these cuffs for, well, a variety of your pants as long as you don’t mind any color differences that you may have between different types of pants. I mean, I really did like the black on black look, so I’m going to stick with this one. As you guys could see, it gives a very nice cuff to look, and you wouldn’t even know that they’re not sewn on. And here they are again just with my shoes on ready to go out. Wearing my #[0:03:21] sneakers. So that was today’s video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Let me know down the comments below.
