Bulk Christmas Cards Easy Patchwork Style Tonic Studios Craft Kit 23

Hi I’m Gerry from Gerry’s Craft Room
In this video I have craft kit 23 for you all Christmas
I walk you through the products first there is the exclusive kit wallet stamps set and sticker the exclusive dies a shadowbox die that I
will show you in a bit lots of sentiments and embellishment dies to decorate your projects 6×6 Paper Pack – Merry & Bright
Nuvo Confetti Pure Sheen Glitter Mini Jewel Drop Glitter Drop Mini Glacier Paste which is a gorgeous new product 1 Aqua Flow pen out of the Merry & Bright Pack Speciality Paper and Speciality Card Mirror Card and Classic Card
Glitter Card and Foiled Kraft Card and this is the shadow box you can make with
the die from the kit I just folded it together not taped it yet I will show this in the next craft kit video and give some tips on saving paper I also want to show you a bunch of Christmas cards in the same style creating in bulk is the way to go if you have a lot to make but you don’t want them all the same right so I cut a bunch of strips at 1 inch 2.5 cm out of the sheets from the paper pad I put them next to each other in the different
colours and I have a strip of paper slighty smaller
than my card I added tape and I measure the size it will
be when I cut it to fit the cards I use the guillotine cutter to measure the size I add tape in the place I marked so the strips will stay in place on the sides when I cut it By the way I added the products I used in the description box for you and if you are new here and you like what you see don’t forget to subscribe and now I start adding the strips
take your time to add the first one if that’s straight the rest will be easy I have cut off the bits that are sticking
out on one side and then I cut the cards to size and here are the first three backgrounds I made three more the same way that I will show you later I have another strip with tape and I am going to add the paper strips diagonal I use the triangle ruler to line the first one up and then I add the rest just filling up the paper I cut off the strips I can use the bigger
ones at the bottom and I cut of the parts on the top and the
other side and then I cut the backgrounds to size
one rectangle and two squares I have two of the first backgrounds and I
cut them diagonal to make another fun background and I cut up another background to make a
square and cut also diagonal you can use them as they are too of course I just want to show you some different options here are four cards with the straight strip
backgrounds and here are the cut strips left from the
square backgrounds I tape them together and then tape them to a card for the square I want to do something different again so I add regular tap to the back and line
up the other part with the seam halfway the pattern and then I add more tape to the back to secure the pieces and I cut of the bits that are sticking out I cut a frame of the red card and add the
piece on it with tape and then I add the complete piece on the card and here are all the backgrounds I made all taped to cards here are a few of the sentiments from the
kit and I show you how I colour them with ink I have a few of the sentiments together and I use the ink blending tool to add ink after inking up the sponge I first use it on my scrap paper
to divide the ink and make sure I don’t get a big blob of ink on the sentiment then I cut the sentiments to size after I cut all three I use the inkpad straight
on the strip this gives a bit of a grungy distressed look
which I like So for the cards I cut some tiny cards that
I am going to add as a base for the bits and pieces I want to add so I am going to show you how I assemble three
cards as the others ones are made in a similar way and I will show you all cards at the end I start with adding all the little cards and then I add the pieces I cut out of the different papers I use glue and tape to add the different embellishments and here again you can leave them basic or
go crazy I like to pile up things so I add some layers and here are the cards with the little bows In different colours on different cards you get a complete different look and here are the cards with Santa on tour I used the cut out cards
in black and white on the card on the right a great way to use up your scraps and here are the cards with the branches or is it mistletoe also in different colours to create a different effect and here are all cards together these where pretty fast to make even with
the layers just cut and die cut a bunch so they are easy
and fast to assemble I hope you liked the video don’t forget
