2 minute pinwheel patchwork block – video tutorial


Take one 5 inch square of fabric and place it over another 5 inch square of fabric with right sides facing together and pin. Now stitch all around the square with 1/4 inch seam allowance. Cut from corner to corner
to obtain 4 half square triangles. Press well and place on a pinwheel pattern. Now pin and stitch in pairs. When you stitch the last two pieces together make sure that all the corners meet. Use a needle to mark where all the corners align. Your stitching line should meet on the corner on both sides. The block is done.
